I had an issue with my iPhone a few days ago. I knew it wasn’t lowbat because I fully charged it before we left the house. I asked my daughter about it if she turned it off or something, and she said that she’s trying to play with games on my phone. Then I just realized that she must have entered the wrong password multiple times. Entering wrong password for many times can cause temporary phone locked out.

When this arise, don’t freak out! All you have to do is reset your iPhone and follow the steps below. Don’t worry because iPhone reset will not normally remove or delete any data or settings.

– Reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time.
– Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.
– Wait until the white Apple logo appears.
– When this happens, you can let go – the iPhone is rebooting.
